I have multiple fridges and they all look like that. I actually just picked up a bunch of their barrel aged sours!!! SO good.

Their Marketing/Social Media person lives at my house

My mother was a nurse for 40 years.

My wife’s friend, who is a nurse, is scared for her job at the moment. They laid off 20 people at our local small hospital and they’re talking laying off another 20%.

Basically the hospital is running at less than 33% capacity.

We have had less than 5 cases of (confirmed) COVID and they’ve been from out of town.

Same in my town. My woman is a nurse and she only was able to work 1 day this week. People are too scared to go to the hospital and are cancelling surgeries, plus the hospital is only doing surgeries on people that meet their "criteria". Her dept went from about 60 surgeries a day to 5-10.

One of the disadvantages of being home all day is on-line shopping. I've been wanting to get a pizza oven for a while. I love pizza.

It's not the first hospital I've heard that's laying off people and for similar reasons. And what cracks me up is all the predictions for beds/shortage of ICU and vents hasn't come true for the smaller communities-don't get me wrong, I'm very grateful and glad. But the cost to small community hospitals is staggering. In order to be prepared for incoming cases and to avoid infecting existing pt's, they've stopped doing elective surgeries and where possible, are farming out their LTC pt's to TCU's or other care facilities.

A friend of mine up in Oregon said they laid off all the docs at one hospital and effectively closed them down.

 

I really like Sierra Nevada but I keep passing on that one. Thanks for the review.
