Part of my plan with the white taco is using dual hydro e brakes for some cutting effect. Always wanted to try it, but as a bonus, can lock em together too for a really powerful o shit brake

4 runner center console, 4 runner e brake, cut a hole in your floor and get a custom length ebrak cable or hope the 4 runner or other one is the right length

So unless the Chinese were crafty enough to include batch testing codes they’re OEM. I could only get one in the camera.

I’ll also add that my fuel pressure is just within spec when shutting the engine off. So pressure isn’t dropping off too fast.

except when it’s cold start. I start it up for a few seconds then cut it off. Then the fuel pressure drops like a brick. Which is why I’m suspecting the regulator. Its was inconsistent to begin with which is why I did injectors.

I guess I’ll do the fuel pressure regulator tomorrow and report back.

Gotcha. Didn’t ever really think about changing any of that. Gonna work on stacking up parts for suspension and engine. May rebuild for turbsky

My rears work good. Not worries about their performance. I'm using the handles to tie front and rear of either side. Left handle and right handle = left side of truck and right side. Though I'm considering cutting on the rear instead of both.

I wouldn't put it past them. I've had runs of very very legitimate looking computer chips that were only verified as fakes when we contacted the manufacturer and they told use the lot numbers were bogus.

Still on the lookout for a single cab pickup 2wd or another Tacoma. Even looked at a few tundras for the next vehicle. Main thing now is fixing up the 98. All new suspension brakes and interior and wait to rebuild the motor later. That being said I’m looking for dark grey interior pieces. Hard to find as y’all know

Yeah. Seller (Japanesedismantling) has over 500 positive And 4 neg reviews in 12 months.

It’s also possible they were from a flood vehicle. I just assumed if there were issues it would throw red flags at the injector rebuilder. Damnit what a PITA.

Welded in a trailer hitch to the bumper, and welded on the frame reinforcements.

Random misfire AND misfire in neighboring cylinders, to me... this screams head gasket. Have you been slowly losing coolant by chance??
