noted! I’ve been eyeing up RCI sliders but if Eddy can get me in that ballpark I’ll get ahold of him.

SOS usually has some good sales through out the year. They just had 20% off tax sale. Again, I'm sure most all skids/sliders are close to each other. Eddy's CS sold me. I ordered skids and was gonna get sliders from a local AL guy. The guy decided he didn't want to make bolt-on anymore. Eddy added my sliders with skids the night before they were to ship out. He didn't have to do that, and b/c of that......I had sliders for my trip :D

I had been studying up on armor for months. I have a tendency to over study stuff like that.

I've been looking for suspension for almost a year now. Finally bought the last pieces this week

And just cause I like to post pics.

I don't think bigger brakes are ever a bad thing :D I'm just trying to do things to my truck that are useful and not "gram" mods. I can honestly say every mod I've done has been useful.

Shit’s on point compared to the stock. If you’re not planning on upgrading again later I would go with the ones Phil is getting. I got the base twin tube dobinsons all around. They soak up bumps well and have good articulation. Fit and finish is on point. It would be nice to have some adjustability for on and off road. Only to make on road smoother. Off road they are pretty damn good. Nothing like the remote resis we had on the RZR. But, good enough For what I am up to these days, running the desert around Vegas.

I would go with the dealer Phil is suggesting. I went with mainline overland and had zero after sale support. Zero. I emailed them when only 1/4 of my order showed up and a week went by then another 1/3 showed up, emailed again and nothing. With the second shipment I got a packing slip with everything checked off but I didn’t have everything. I bought my spod and my suspension at the same time from them, and I probably would go somewhere else if I had a do over.

Just watching vids on the needle bearing replacement. I'm gonna try my best to stay away from paying the shop for anything other than an alignment. The guys in the AL thread have been kind enough to help me to the lift.

Shit is easy, man. You don’t even need to file on the tool the way they show you in a lot of those videos. It was literally the easiest part of my lift.

The vid I just watched made it seem easy enough. The local guy that offered to help has done some pretty extensive work on his 1st gen, so I'm sure he knows what he's doing. I've just never done anything other than basic stuff before.

    Evenin’ Phil ‘n All,
Yeah, sure is good to have guys nearby that can twist wrenches too. Sometimes you pick up on this ‘n that so it can work for you. Likely gonna meet this guy once things get normal again.

I swear I have read that people put the older Toyota truck axles under them(pre Tacoma). I may very well have made it up though
