I just picked up a 2015 Tacoma 4cyl 4x4 access the underside needed some extra protection ... Por-15 and top coat should keep her rust free for a few years . 614A466C-3412-4F3E-A991-F6422B6EC6FB.jpg

I'm cleaning this spaghetti mess up. Fuse holders and relays are everywhere. I'm building a new fuse panel for it. The truck has 8 pairs of LED offroad lights, and aftermarket amp, a winch, and powered side steps.
    20200415_132304.jpg
I also installed a 240 amp alternator and larger wire for the alternator power. Larger ground wires are being added as well.
    20200416_123356.jpg
Dismantled and figuring out the spaghetti.
    20200416_125722.jpg
The very beginning of the new panel.

Have you seen these shocks before? I hadn't. I was told they've been around for over a decade. 24" of up travel and 24" of down travel. Amazing. Metal Cloak 6 Pak shocks. It was driven offroad 450+ miles in Baja at 60+ mph and they were cool to the touch. Several series of whoops, 3' step tiers, you know Baja...

Installed a transfer switch for my 8,000W generator, finally.

No more cracking the doors open for extension cords and I now have 1 30amp plug on the outside of my house.

Dusting off my once-project and then once-daily. I moved the speakers from the rear doors to the front yesterday. No front door speakers from the factory, but the door cards were cut and wiring was all there

BOOM! Custom 240 amp alternator, custom 300 amp capable panel, 2 circuit breakers with switches to kill the whole thing, and all associated wiring was upgraded including adding additional grounds to the body/engine/frame.

So glad this is over, it was a fun project until I was given more work with no added hours, then it was just a stressful PITA nightmare.

I have a lot of truck projects lined up but the shop is closed on Saturdays due to the virus so I can't get in there.
I have no garage and it's still too cold for me out there.
First thing I want to do is install a 2nd horn.
