If your spare is touching the diff, you can move the bracket rearward pretty easily.

Someone linked a FB marketplace ad for Yakima racks for the cab and cap. If you don't have a base rack on there yet, this is where to start.

A cargo basket isn't going to be set up to haul a kayak unless you put the kayak holder on it. The Yakima kayak solutions will fit on the base rack AND a basket since the basket is made of the same diameter material.

 

I have a homemade rack, very heavy duty! I built it for transporting steel from the steel yard to my shop.
