I’ve got Depos right now and they’re the worst beam pattern I think I’ve ever seen. The seal is good, which I thought was going to be an issue, but in fact the light output (with Sylvania XFE bulbs) is terrible.
I think it’s a 50/50 shot when you get Depos.

Must be a crap shoot. Have Depos on mine with great beam pattern with whatever bulbs they provide. You have to adjust them facing a wall so you can see where the beam is. Tail lights are depo also and they look great. No complaints here.

curious to this as well. I’d go to 17’s if I could and not lose my ass on my current setup.

Dont replace them, polish them. From what I've came across, Depos are hit or miss. Chris Fix has a good video on refinishing headlights. I'd link to the youtube video but Big Brother blocked the tubes at work so you'll just have to take my word on it. I believe the supplies you'd need are 800 - 1100 grit sand paper, painters tape, and some UV resistant clear coat in rattle can variety. The video covers this in depth, but I believe you'd lightly wet sand with 800 grit, rinse with water, to get debris off, light coat of rattle and repeat like 3 times allowing for it to dry between coats. Last coat would be the lightest grit paper followed with the clear and your lenses will be good as new.

My lenses are starting to show crazing at the top since I can no longer garage the vehicle (smaller garage in this house). The materials to purchase should set you back around 40$, and if you sold your headlights you bought to replace them, you could easily make that back and more. Ultimately, it's up to you if you want to put in the effort. To me its worth it.
