Anyone have a sound clip from the Aero 2525XL? Would like to cut the low drone out when climbing up hills.

Yeah, check my sig. It isn't the 2525"XL", but it is in fact the 2525 resonated.

That is in fact without the cats... But as far as sound is concerned, the rear cats are the equivalent of like a 3" resonator.

    K...........

I guess im exactly the opposite from most people who add an aftermarket exhaust. I just want the exhaust to be as quiet as possible. So, maybe the Cat's being in place along with the XL version will produce a quiet exhaust for me. :D

Well if you want to be quiet, first and foremost stay away from Aero Turbine! If you want to be quiet and still have a solid sound, go with like a Dynomax or something and resonate the shit out of it! Or else just spring for a TRD catback, its not too loud.

It's too late now I already have the 2525XL on the way.
I was basing my decision off the website which states:

"The 2525XL is the most versatile Resonated model exhaust we carry. The 2525XL will give the performance and quieter sound that every Car, Truck, and SUV owner should expect from their vehicle."

Haha, you might think you like quiet, but you'll enjoy the shit out of that AT either way...

Hope so....... I know the Aero is a lot smaller width wise. Is it also about the same height as the stock muffler? Im wondering if I will have more options as far as mounting the aero.

NM found out myself........ 4.5 x 9 x19. So, the aero has 1.5 more height, 3 inches less width and 7 inches longer. Hopefully, I can tuck the Aero nicely to prevent it from getting smashed on some rocks.

It is smaller width and height wise... Smaller to the point where you can move its location much though? No. What were you thinking?

I wheel quite a bit so was thinking about the damage rocks could inflict. So, maybe moving it closer to the axle or something along those lines. Just thinking out loud here.

Can anyone tell me why everyone puts their cameras a foot away from the exhaust tip to share how it sounds? I'd much rather hear the different setups from somewhere ud plausibly be listening to it...
