Help, changing wheels and tires after Toytech 3" lift will this wheels/tires be ok

The lift is a Toytech ultimate lift for TSB, and the wheels are Moto Metal 0951 17x9 4.5 back spacing with BFG TA KO 285-70-17 wheels 2 yrs old and tires with 5k on them. (local seller) Will this set up work? These wheels where on a Chevy 2500 (update, I think these wheels are 8 lugs. I will double check darrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrn)....

or should I keep my Dick Cepek 17x9 6-5.5, 4.5 back spacing and -12 offset and get same tires? of Nitto Dune grapplers?

 

Look like 8-lug to me.....

Also the hub bore on chevy's is smaller than Toyotas, so if they are hub-centric, you would need to get them bored out.

 

If they came off of a chevy 2500, then they are definitely 8-lug. You can also see in the pic that they are 8-lug.

 

I say keep the wheels you have, and snag some new tires (Duratrac's?!?)... those DC's are nice!

 

you guys r right. I noticed that while I was loading the photos (8 lugs). the guy did not put it on his add. Oh well i guess new set of shoes r on their way.

Now which tires should I be looking at, no mudding, light dirt, sand and fire roads,

1. BFG All Terrain TA KO
2. Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac
3. Nitto Terra grappler
4. Nitto Dune grappler

any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks for the inputs.

Is it pretty waterproof?
I just got mine on last week and i too love it but it rained here and let in a ton of water. so that was very discouraging

 

did u install the 2 drain hoses that came with the cover? mine are about 1/2" thick that I had to drain through the bed? mine dosen't leak. well very little if any.

 

I didnt install it myself, the trruck cover place i went to did and they have the drain hoses but water leaks in from the corners. im thinking they might not have installed it right.
