OEM roof rack and side steps. Keeping it clean for now.
Currently working on a custom roof rack for the new Tacoma. Couldn't get my old one to fit, and didn't want to pay the price for a new one. Bed liner is currently drying, then it will be mounted up.

You know you're been talking about this mod pile for months, maybe years. Get off your lazy butt and get with it. :boink:

Best part is he's a 6'4" full bred Texan. And I think he finds the truck as funny as we do.

Only thing to make that shirt better would be swing a little pink kiddie bike over his tailgate first! I'd rock it for sure

I looked at those a while back but they don't work if you have factory DRL's.

Maybe when I stop being an essential / disposable employee producing products that most folks can't even purchase right now. o_O
OR whenever this country finally gets a handle on this whole virus thing.
I can tell you which will come first!!

I did get my recovery treads mounted.

Yea hopefully things will get back to normal soon, whatever that turns out to be. Our work is also essential but I dont have a pile of mods like you do. At least you have that to look forward to. Maybe you can sneak one in tomorrow with better weather.

Thanks! Had it for years. Bought it when I was trying to get into blacksmithing. It has moved across the country with me several times.

All a matter of priorities. Work around the house trumps work on my Tacoma.
I may try to squeeze in a mod or two as time permits. Last time I had off was dedicated to getting the greenhouse ready. My next time off is to get my shed rearranged to access spring summer and fall things readily accessible. That thing is stuffed to the vents. You wouldn't believe how much I have crammed in there. So we'll see on the mods.
With no garage mother nature holds the winning hand and the only pair I ever seem to be holding is my own. o_O

I have no idea how old it is or what brand. It is so old and rusted on the sides that the writing isn't visible anymore. I have found the remnants, but nothing readable. But a 90 lb anvil is always useful.

Agree about priorities. Had the last 3 weeks off and did many projects around the house and yard. Managed to have time to install a DIY popnlock and 1/4" top spacer for the taco lean while being off. Luckily I have a garage to work in so that's a plus. You may need to draw a few more cards to see if you can improve your hand against Mother Nature. :D

Regarding mods, do you guys care if the truck is still in warranty and doing mods according to Toyota voids the warranty? Has it ever come up if you go to the dealer for service and they see things like diff breather mods, lifts, whatever? Just curious, what some of your views and experiences might be.

my drive home from the dealer after getting the new truck was pretty miserable. the motor wasn't responsive, the clutch was difficult, seat was awful, suspension & ride were wonky.. within about 10-20 miles on that first drive home i had the beginnings of my plans in my mind and was getting to work the next day. it's my truck and it's gonna be right for me or I'm selling it..

I need to rebuild some of our raised beds in Lynn's garden. Today, though, our 4 colonies of new honey bees arrived for our apiary so we had to get them set up. At least in 40 F weather they weren't very active as we dumped them into the hive boxes.
