That was a video of my attempt at housing some m balfouri tarantulas in a communal enclosure, which is one of the few species that can “live” together. But if you view the video they didn’t get along and are now living separately, including one I sent off to @Kwikvette to live happily ever after.

That's Penelope eating a dubia roach. To show how sadistic she is, she chose to eat it head first so it's still alive since you can cut off or crush a roach's head and it'll still stay alive for several days.

 

Not sure killing them is permitted during roundups.. Only one rattlesnake can be killed per hunter/year. My understanding is they are brought to the roundup, some are milked, displayed for a bit, then returned to where they were caught.

Copperheads are assholes. I've yet to see a rattlesnake not give way and move off. Copperheads OTOH, seem to dare you to go past. Assholes.
