In case you’ve been living under a rock and haven’t heard, the Thunderbirds will be doing flyovers of a bunch of the front range this afternoon:

Yeah they were low enough that even from a hill near our place they were behind houses and trees. Some people got lucky, others got shit. Oh well, still cool to see.

Saw them right above the north side of Fort Collins, I was right under where they did their big U-turn south, always awesome to see those planes.

I can’t wait to take my kids to an air show. I grew up seeing the thunderbirds and blue angels.

I grew up in Navarre FL during the summer time and saw many a practice flyover by the blue Angels. They fly out of Pensacola and practice all between ft Walton and Pensacola they have a few shows a year there and practice about two dozen dates during summer months. This is my first time seeing the Thunderbirds. I'll have to keep an eye out for a proper airshow demonstration ... Angels move into super hornets next year...

My dad was stationed in Milton, FL so I got to see the blue angels perform at the beach and also at their practice shows on base. Cool stuff.
