A little is an understatement. I got a couple hours in but still short.

I have cut the front fenders, cut and hammered the pinch weld, smashed the inner fenderwell with a small sledge hammer, and filled the resulting gaps with silicone. The mid cab mount just barely has enough meat left on it to hold the body bushing in place. If I go offroad - which I don't regularly do - it definitely rubs still. On pavement it never rubs.

You're correct my rims are 8" wide.

I think because everything is black on my truck it all kind of blends in together when looking at pictures of it.

I live in So Cal which is close to deserts and Baja. I bought my 37/12.50R17 BFG KO tires for $300 for all 4 tires. They're former race tires with small chunks missing out of the sidewall. They also have some cracking but not too bad yet. I bought them when it was raining and couldn't see the cracks. Racedezert.com has quite a few 37's and 39's because a few race classes use that tire.

Installed ME-SO Customs Gasshole for the short bed.... The bolt was an absolute PAIN! I had to drill it out and replace the screw but all in all i LOVE this mod.

I like the original head lights, I’d like to replace mine as they are starting to haze too. Where did you get yours from for that price?

Rock Auto. Looks like they're a little bit pricey for your model year; about $100 a pop for the same brand. If yours aren't leaking or cracked you could get away with a wetsand and a couple coats of 2K clearcoat.

Hmmm. Call this constructive criticism, but scratching my head at your design. Lotta work to gain departure angle bobbing and then add half a foot of steel hanging of the bed? o_O I guess protection is protection and Tacoma hangers get hung up first anyway.

How's the Vulcan been working for you? Looking at the Esab Rebel 235 but the price of the Harbor Freight is appealing

Installed my newSPC UCAS that I received through SPC’s upgrade program. I still need to get an alignment but no more squeaky bushings! Also purchased a bed mat for $88 bucks from the dealer.

The bumper is butted right up against the rear hangers. It literally can not move forward any further. I cut out 14” of bed, should’ve done 11”. Bumper would have remained in the same place but would line up better with the body. Departure angle can not get any better than this, unless I just didn’t add a rear bumper.

Replaced the stock Dunlops (245/75/16) with Grabber AT2’s (265/70).

Got 50k out of the Grandtrek’s - no complaints. Happy with the Grabbers so far.

You can see better here what I’m talking about. That bolt also bolts the rear hangers up. I got so caught up in making my bed the same length as a short bed that I missed this minor detail.
