What's the best thing to clean the exterior of a stainless steel grill that's a little neglected??

Depends on how neglected it is.. a scrubbing sponge and some soap and water will take care of a lot.. the problem is f the scrubbing part of the sponge is too aggressive it will leave marks in the stainless steel ... kind of like a piece of sandpaper would.

Looks like Sputnik up there good lord.

Running out to the grocery later today or Monday to get some stuff for smoking early next week with some time off of work. Thinking on loading up with snausages, maybe a pork butt, chuck roast if they have it, maybe some pork loin and my ol' favorite - turkey breasteses :D

Grocery store gave me some goodies. Smoking Tuesday I think.

pork butt. Small rack of ribs. 5 bratwurst (I usually do spicy Italian sausage but this was all they had, I’m excited to try these though!) and 5 turkey sausages (sweet Italian I think). I’ll be making these with....cheap box Mac and cheese and jiffy corn bread mix :D I could only get so much there. Haven’t done a butt in a while I’m looking forward to it.
