as a courtesy, my winch may or may not be operational. Waiting for the new connector to get in

and i dont have sliders right now, last time i went up in October the only thing that saved me was 35’s.

there was one spot that was decently washed out

 

well.... im fucked then i have no connector. and my alignment isnt as good as my eyes. im out.

 

Didn't he recently prove that with a loaner Tundra?

On the other hand, my 83 I had just bought from a guy on lake tapps, only to do this 18hrs later at reiter... Hadn't even transferred the title to my name yet.




Flipped it back over, pulled the plugs, threw the windshield in the back and drove all the way back to Fall City like that. Had to stop and buy a pair of goggles. Missing the windshield acts like a funnel for bugs. That shit hurt more than riding a motorcycle.

Hey in hindsight there was no damage to the truck at that point. But it was a shit show of a night/day.

 

I'm down for a day trip....not sure the Mrs would give the hall pass for an overnighter right now

 

we could break down together. thats camping.

 

I could do next weekend. But what if slamminmysack road is closed? Up here they closed the road to Rattlesnake lake but people keep parking and walking/biking in.

 

im banking on the fact that there are a few vacation homes up there? I know there’s a gate or two

 

yep there is. it seems like that one home with the Suzuki 4x4 is lived in full time. maybe at the most there will be road closed sign that we could go around?

 

if i remember correctly there’s a gate and a “path around” on the left side. I’m sure we could get around...if i remember it right.
We could leave around noon on Saturday, make it to the top of Van Epps and head up and back down Gallagher on Sunday?

If that doesn’t work I have a buddy who lives out by sultan and would be down for the sultan basin road
