Crappy iPad video I did a while back, I tuned my Tele to open G, for some Stones, and Black Crowes. I’m still a newbie (18 months in)
Forgive the overly aggressive string bends at the begining! I’ve never posted a vid on here before.

Had a few hours of spare time at work.
Racked my brain over some midi vids and forums.
Hopefully found a solution so I'm amped to clock tf out and head home to mess with my system some more.

Also thinking about new gear again. I'm pretty close to having what I need. I love these JBL LSR305 monitor speakers. But the 308's are supposed to be really sweet.

I use them for amp speakers because the Eleven rack has 20 or so cab emulation as well as 15 different mics and the ability to choose on/off axis.

So it's working great because the nearfields don't change the sound of the cabinets that I'm using.

Fantastic success finally with programming the midi pedal.
Stumbled across a post from 10 years ago burried deep in the web.

found what I was initially looking for plus about 10 other things.
Looks like ill be programming all weekend. :)

$120 off on a pair of JBL 308P MKII monitors from Sweetwater thru may 31. Might have to jump on that.

I think I've got the CEO on board. Going to have to tread carefully, I don't think she realizes how expensive equipment is. She's rather stingy with authorizing expenditures. The funding is there, she's just big on needs over wants.

Odd. I set it to private but I thought I could share the link.

It's working on my end, but I guess that's how it works. I'll try again.

So... is there any advantage to buying a brand new guitar? I think I’m going to get that epiphone es 339. That link I posted is a fairly new one, seems like it’s not that old for $325 + $55 shipping. I’d see if I could get it for 300 + shipping. New I’d pay 499, so I’m saving maybe $150. I’ll still need an amp new or used so do I just go used and put that $150 for an amp?

Other than finding some pick scratches or a chip or 2. Used is ok. I've had good luck buying used.

With a new guitar, you are obviously getting a warranty in case something catastrophic happens like the neck falls off or the pickups don't work.

$150-$200 should but a decent small - medium sized used amp. Or a small cheapo amp.

Here’s the one I’m looking at for reference again: https://reverb.com/item/33267058-epiphone-es-339-pro-2020-sunburst

it seems like it’s in great condition. What are your thoughts? I probably will look for a smaller amp since I can’t turn it up too loud cuz thin walls and neighbors, but I’d like a good quality one.

edit: dammit I just saw it’s sold now. Guess I’m getting new lol
