Has the three camera setup been tested yet? I want to be able to switch between the OEM reverse, to a front, to a cargo cam in the MESO 3rd brake light.

Yes, I am going to use the same camera that I have been using for the 16-19 controller. The quality seems to be on par with everything else I tried but the 2020s have a better resolution screen so we will see how good that looks on the new screen.
I already ordered more of those cameras to bundle with the controllers.
I’m going to give additional $10 store credit to those who pre-order the bundle.

Installed this in my 2019. My observations: Very straightforward install of the system, just take your time understanding how the camera wires into the system. (I bought the camera with the system.) Excess wire management was a bit of work, required lots of tie wraps. Taking the lower dash off was key for me -- highly recommended. My particular grill was the biggest pain. I ended up fabbing a rudimentary bracket to fit the grill - see pics. Seems to work.

One thing about the function of this setup: Pushing the Mode button twice activates the front camera any time, as advertised. However, I thought it would stay on until manually turned off, but it turns off after 30 sec(?) like when you change from reverse back to first gear. I'd have preferred it stay on continuously for trail use. No big deal, but not perfectly optimal.
EDIT: I WAS WRONG. SEE POSTS BELOW. IT TURNS OUT THERE IS A WAY TO KEEP THE CAMERA ON!

Also installed a DMM. Very nice!

The camera will stay on if you want it to, all you have to do is HOLD the track up (front cam) or track down (rear cam) buttons on your steering wheel until you hear a beep.

Hit "Mode" twice. THEN while the front cam is on, PRESS and HOLD the "Up" button on the steering wheel for about 5-10 seconds until you hear a beep. Presto! Front camera (or rear) is locked on until you change the Mode by shifting to reverse or park.

I know this is not the best picture but I figured it would help, I'll get better pictures and a video in the near future.

Looking forward to getting the kit :)

In the mean time anyone out there already fitted a camera to a 2020 grill? Would love to see the position and type of camera/bracket used...

    Cheers

This is not mine, but @Tullie D recently put a 2020 grille on his 2019 truck.

    Thank you, Looks great!

I should have specified the new OR/Sport grilleo_O

I’ve just been out and looked at mine and I see there are mounting points for the oem camera. I’m going to look to see if I can find a part number for the oem camera to see if there is a bracket to make things easier....

Found and stole this photo from @alexthesparky, thanks . By the way nice truck!

I’m thinking it’d be easy to utilise an old strip of plastic to make a bracket.

Alex, do you per chance have a part number for the bracket?

Too many trucks and mods to list.. check builds
I'm curious if you whether or not this will fit a radio from a 2019 toyota 86. im looking into options for setting up a front camera in my tundra that has that radio, looks like all the connections are there at the back of the radio. need a camera to make parking in the garage easier..(its a tight fit)

(my question is really about what the 8 pin is used for. my radio has the spot, but nothings plugged in, according to the tacoma diagram its for the radio tuner, so im wondering if its even needed in my situation)
