    Eh yes and no
Computers not going to tell you to get momentum before an obstacle
Thats why most traction aids just use the breaks to simulate having lockers

On 2nd gens when you go in 4-lo traction control automatically gets turned off anyways

The true key to wheeling is learning what line to take and how much momentum you need to make it

thats why rock bouncers hit everything so fast. Because they take dumb lines so they rely on momentum to pull them over
Where rock crawlers are slow with really good line choice

so yes computers can help but usually hurt more with driver skill

You guys don’t know how thrilled I am to have my truck finally working out the way I pictured it when I bought it :p just need that new suspension, winch, maybe a custom rear bumper. Then I can plan some ridiculous shit :sawzall:

    Dood, you get it!

Eventually tacomas will have roomba brains...I don't want to ride around in a roomba.

Some peeps really like the roomba, I hear there's a Java API for it. I find it akin to a slush box.

I agree, tgelata, and that wisdom comes from an accumulation of bad experiences if you’re really good at it.

    Call them “Furrys”.

@Taco-Bell Your first gen looks way better with the new bed, I’ve never preferred the look of a step-side.

Meh, all part of the risk of off roading
Something i learned real quickly was the more skinny pedal you use the more likely your going to smash something. Fortunately i learned that without having any bad experiences

What tires are you running again? They look oddly practical

All jokes aside that looks amazing man. Glass always makes a truck look that much more badass.

Maybe after i do my own

i tried a can of “gunk” engine bay cleaner From CT on a truck i sold and it seemed to work pretty good kinda want to try it again
I used it on the motor for the jetski with a rag on the bench and it seems like a cross between degreaser and SC-1

I should pick some up. Mine has 18 years of rust inhibitor and unidentified road gunk caked on it.

For sure everyone has their own tolerance for risk and consequences. Let’s just say I’ve had my share of adventure in places like Northwestern Ontario, north of Red Lake and in the Yukon. Up there it can be a long walk to civilizAtion if you make a mistake.
