[IMG] I have searched the whole web for these tail lights and I can’t find them and today I now seen two trucks with them. Anyone know where I can buy these from. They are 100% clear, no red, chrome taillights.

JC Whitney? They have a clear lens option, but there's a red inner lens.

Why not flag down one of the ones you see and ask?

Altezzas went out of style in the late 90's early 00's, so it might be tough to find.

Love to know why you can't see the red and amber lamps, which they must have, since you say the fixtures are all clear/chrome.

I just prefer the clean look of no red reflectors.

I miss the all clear tail light lenses from the 90’s, early 2000’s.

They're not required to be red, they're required to light up red.

so you’d need to buy red lightbulbs that would pretty much show red even when off since the covering is clear?

I don’t think they need to show red. I think it’s only when the vehicle is in operation to show that it’s stopping. And plus if you had red bulbs when you have your lights on it would still illuminate red.

One of my co-workers got pulled over couple years ago for having all clear headlights and tail lights. Gotta get red reflectors for the tails, and amber for the fronts. But here’s one post I found on the forum:

“Not to crap on this, but I just want to make all potential buyers aware that federal law requires that the rear of the vehicle be equipped with two "Red Reflex Reflectors". OEM tail lights have the red reflectors built in, but since these are clear, they do not comply. If you want to run these legally, you would have to affix two red reflectors on the rear of your vehicle. Essentially two red bike reflectors stuck somewhere on the rear of your vehicle.”

Oh that's right, I forgot about the red reflector requirement.

LED's can be clear and light up red, you don't need red bulbs.

I don't see a problem. Hundreds for power assisted 10 pound tailgates, hundreds for black colored interior parts, thousands in suspension to cruise the mall, thousands for camping equipment and not having an actual camper, thousands for bumpers and never going rock crawling,, etc etc etc
but TRD stickers are cheap lol.
