    You won't break a driveshaft man. I think the worst part are the gears in that rear axle and hopefully the ones you picked up are strong enough to deal with the stress you'll put them through, youll be fine.

    '06 4x4 AP LT and Locked
    A 4WD with open differentials is going to put power to the wheel with the least resistance in the front and wheel with the least resistance in the back, essentially making it a true 2WD (most 2WD are true 1WD).

    It's advantage over a rear locked truck is that the axle with the most weight (front) gets traction.

    A 4WD with an LSD in the rear and an open up front (most 4x4's) is putting power to the front wheel with the least resistance and spreading the power between the rear wheels.

    A locked differential obviously puts power to both wheels no matter what.

    yea i see what u mean but when taking an incline when locked assuming your at a decent speed or momentum.... wont all the power transfer be to the rear wheels when locked....??? again i might just be over analyzing lol
