I have a 2006 toyota tacoma prerunner V6. And it came up with a code P0012 i says "Intake camshaft position timing over-retarted bank 1" i have just over 230,000 miles and before i dig in and start removing parts. My question is would i just be better off flushing my engine? Im thinking the VVT solenoid is bad or the screen is gunked up. I wanna flush it with seafoam and then oil change. Any imput would be great. Thanks
