It basically intercepts the MAF sensor signal and you can read/write different maps within a certain value to adjust for fuel mixture. There is a substantial amount of adjustment that can be performed with the included software. This upgrade is extremely versatile and is worth every penny if you are familiar with what you are doing. For the price point it is extremely hard to beat your hp per $ ratio

I have the gasshole, I just think it looks cleaner, plus it's an easy mod if you don't have to fight with the screw (mine came right out).

Why are there screws instead of rivets (3rd gen)?

I think you’re thinking of bamf hangers. On the archive you still use a normal bolt and nut ( nylock nut even) to bolt the shackle into the hanger. The bamf one is a welded nut which I’ve seen cause issues before. I’m only stating this for other readers so they’re not swayed away, since your mind is already made up.

Installed Noico sound mat on all 4 doors. Big difference in road noise and stereo sound quality

For those who have done this, what do you do with the vapor barrier? Remove it completely, place it over the sound-proofing?

It should be. There's plenty of room for it. The only unknown to me is the amperage rating of the factory horn system versus the amperage draw of those horns. I'm going to research it at some point as I don't like the factory horns. BTW, did you know there's a baffle on the factory horns that makes them quieter? It just unclips off the factory horns.

I covered my doors, so I think I'm good. If I would have left the holes open, I might have considered putting it back.

This video will show you how to to create a template of the inside of the door using . plastic wrap. I was able to install the sound deadening in one piece using the template.
