Awesome job so far! Thanks for the update and pics.

Pretty sure the two black plastic shields adjacent to the headlights come out and can be discarded in order to make more room if you need, correct? (I believe they are only there to help funnel air towards the radiator. I debated taking out the passenger side one when I installed my remote short wiring kit for my Warn winch which I located in the engine bay next to the windshield washer reservoir).

For those interested: Treadstone sells a Treadstone TR10C (-Core Size, 10.5" X 22" X 3.5" with overall length 28" which is 2" shorter than the 1035). It has similar CFM and HP specs as the 1035 too. There is a slightly smaller version TR8C but has smaller CFM and HP specs)

I'm just going to piecemeal the inlet and outlet tubing together with aluminum and silicone connectors and try to do as little customizing as possible (i.e. use as much of OVT's tubing as possible without making major modifications). Once it fits and works well I will probably outsource customized welded aluminum tubing since there is a local guy who can do much better than I would.

Cheers to Turd Hawg taking the welding on though.

I removed those plastic pieces awhile back too, as part of a different install. Wasn't necessary, just made it easier.

The OFT uses a different file format than the flash kit. The only way to get the files has been to email for them. This China flu BS has made it difficult on everyone and Mat hasn’t been able to get the files out yet.

A lot of good welding aluminum is very clean metal. And cleaned with the correct abrasive and cleaners.

While clean material is always best, It depends in the machine too. Most new TIG machines have pre-cleaning settings. So long as material isn’t oil soaked or cast, I very rarely prep aluminum in any way prior to welding.

I like what you've accomplished so far!

Question about that intercooler. Does it have diverters to split the air flow? A look in the inlet would let you know.

    Not criticizing ..... just curious.
You were traveling from left to right ? ( or is the part not in the orientation that you welded it ? )

All I know is that whomever figures out a solid intercooler option for us winch folk and is willing to make a kit for at least any required brackets and I guess any piping that needs to be made can take my money lol I can order silicone couplers as needed

I believe it was stated around 20weeks out. My educated guess would say that's a rough estimate.
