There was a pretty long thread on here with someone having a similar problem. I can't find it right now on mobile but the title was something about cold starts and problem solved.
If I remember right it was rebuilt injectors that were leaking causing a hard start after sitting for a few hours. I'll see if I can find it later.

I think that might have been @ThunderOne 's thread unless I'm confusing him with someone else

Found his thread. His was hot starts. Mine is only when the truck has been sitting for a few hours and has cooled off enough for the temp gauge to not read (below 120) even then it’s sort of rare.

His issue did end up being the fuel pump. I hope to god that isn’t it. It’s a fucking serious PITA to replace it in a double cab.

Im just going to send the original injectors off to a different company for cleaning and put them back in. That will rule out injectors. Even if it continues at least o can feel confident I’m not diluting oil or some sort of other damage.

So it’s weird and I’m getting a few different issues and they don’t always happen at the same time.

First turn over sort of feels like it’s almost a dead battery and has just enough juice to turn it over once then dies out.

Most of the time it will start up fine after that.

but even more intermittent is that it will just crank for 4 seconds and sound like a “cranking sputter”

Once it finally starts there’s no skipping, sputtering or anything.

I did the FPR today because I had a OEM handy. I also went ahead and put a new battery in because my old one produced alot of corrosion and I got $50.00 off an Optima.

I’ll just have to see what the oil analysis says and I’ll go ahead and get the original injectors cleaned as well.

I have a set of these: decent coverage, the spikes on the bottom WILL cut you and tear up your seats if you aren't careful removing them.
The driver's set footwell one, shifts some but not much.

@chrslefty has been running those tires for a while now and in all sorts of terrain. He might have some good feedback by now.

Not sure how to post the link, 336 pages but the first half is an engine swap. Maybe start at the end and move backwards.

There pretty nice. Not to loud on the freeway. Grips good in rock and shale.. They do tend to dig in pea gravel/ wash sand. But if aired down there fine. The side wall is pretty flexible so aired down they ride really nice. I did find that going down to 17psi.makes for really delayed steering when going fast. But raising the pressure helped that. They clean out mud really well. I'm pretty happy with them .
