I should have taken a picture but I watched him slow down and sink and put it in reverse to try and back out and I started getting a strap ready because it was maybe 6” of water and another 24” of really soft mud

 

I looked at it a while back. I was really considering getting one and seeing if it would fit. It’s gotta be pretty close

 

Worst case scenario you could always buy a big piece of rubber and cut it to fit

 

I figured a heat gun would fine tune it. Or some hot summer days

 

Just make sure you get that padding under it for sound/heat insulation. Guys that have pulled their carpets and then just bed linered it do nothing but complain about noise

oh yeah I'm gonna get sound deadening as well whenever I do the rubber flooring

 

Oh I learned that long ago from my rear seats. If the carpet comes out, the whole thing is getting covered in sound deadening

That’s what skid plates are for! Haha it is the downside of the short wheelbase, jack went down it no problem lol. Speaking of jack, this is where we went after we got split up @JTFisherman, I thought I told you we were doing waterfall. Simple miscommunication.

Ended up cracking his radiator a little, when he pushed me. Luckily he found one for like $80 already lol I feel a little bad for telling him to push me. After you guys left me and John (other Jeep) went to stairway to heaven, I made it but he didn’t and I lost him. Ended up wheeling alone for another couple hours on the entrance side of the park. My diff got stuck on a root and I had to toss some boulders under the tire. Made it home around 8.

It was good seeing all you guys again tho, I had a lot of fun.

He probably thought "these guys are insane" lol. Gotta give him props though. Brand new jeep and still had a temp tag on it. We're gonna need to do it again soon

 

Just lift it and put some 40s on. It’ll be fine
