    i never do that!
    always throw it in the bed
    one time in the winter i put it there and that gas pump nozzle knocked it off and it rolled underneath the sloppy slush where i had a difficult time retrieving it
    so i just don't do that!

    my fuel log shows at one time i could get 24 MPG on my 3.4 traveling no more than 65mph on stock tires

    those Falkens better give me back that when i get them
