Well I, for one, appreciate you guys doing this. You have given an old , pretty much laid-off dude, some entertainment and I appreciate that. I cought some inspiration from @My Name is Rahl 's entry and tried my hand at cauliflower augratin tonight damn that was good. I don't use recipes so it was fun.

Dinner was smoked center cut pork chops and the cauliflower

    Thanks again guys

I'm a whiskey/Bourbon guy myself. I feel like I bought that tequila for a recipe or something.

Another local winery also has a brewery and distilery. They make a wonderful tequila of course here they have to call it "Blue Agave necter" . I don't drink alot mostly just make the wine and beer. I do enjoy it though

Wow! After factoring in the judge's scoring, this thing is REALLY close. I have the spreadsheet loaded up, so any last minute changes to the member voting will be accounted for. We will have a short list of finalists that will get added to a poll in THIS thread. We'll run that poll for two days. All day today, all day tomorrow, then close Tuesday morning. Judges will be reconvening to sort out the rankings among the finalists and the same weights will be applied again to determine a champ!

And we have our finalists! We took 3 entries from each voting thread. The top 2 in each thread were decided by combining the member votes with the judges' ranking. The member votes were weighted a little heavier than the judges' ranking. A third "wild card" selection was made for each thread as well. Put those three entries from each thread together and you get the following finalists (presented in alphabetical order by the name of the entry):

Pilsner Glazed Baby Back Ribs - @Casper66
Savory Smoked Brisket, Sweet potato, and Sauteed Spinach - @Mateo74
Smoked Apple-bourbon Brined Pork Chop w/ Garlic Butter Seasoned Crawfish - @itzyoboipaul
Smoked Rump Roast w/Mushroom and Onion Gravy + Home Brewed Porter - @relkins0413
Smoked Tri-Tip Chili, Smoked Corn Bread, and Fresh Chocolate Pecan Cookies - @azhiaziam
    Stuffed Glazed Pork Chop - @DC 17_3

Congratulations to you 6! Poll is going up in this thread shortly. It will run today and tomorrow, so be ready to pander for those votes .
