@OVTune Still waiting for my initial handheld tunes... so how do I go about getting my hands on 2.0 now?

Also, this has probably been answered, but I run 93 here in TX... so do I just run the 91 tune?

Features:
-Revised Torque table control
- Shift map patch
- GearLock Patch S Mode
- Revised VVT
- Revised Shift points
- Revised Throttle control.
- Revised Octane learning / Ignition logic
- Quick shift for 3-4 fixed
- "tip in" - Moderate increase - global

Gearlock is enabled by putting the truck into S Mode.
When in S Mode, it will NOT downshift unless you push the shift selector AND let off the gas pedal when you do.

and a whole lot more.
This is for testing and review. Please let us know your thoughts, so we can make any last minute changes that may be needed, or get everyone updated and on 2.0F.
4.88 and 5.29 gear folks should no longer be speed limited.
NOTE, tire / gear revision does not change speedo.

Does the truck need to be fully warmed up to flash, or can I flash it on a cold engine? I remember seeing something a while back about needing to flash on a warmed up engine.

Holy crap I've apparently missed a lot since the last time I was on here... There's probably at least 500+ (edit: I just counted, more like 1,200+!) new pages to this thread If someone doesn't mind giving me the short and sweet, approximately how much of an improvement is 2.0 over 1.05? Like, how excited should I be?

Cold is OK.

Oh yes, forgot to add something.

Cold Start up Catalyst warming, Injection combo/ switching is also modified.
Ignition Retard for start up is reduced, and the temperature for PI/DI ratio to switch to DI only is reduced

So on cold starts the truck shouldn't start up and sound all crazy / nasty for as long.

Clearing AT and LV, do we do that with the truck running or the truck ignition on?
Never done that one before.

Time is relative and based on perspective. Mat is an awesome guy that has done great things, but at this point with 2.0 test files being released I imagine that would feel like a long time

When you’re able to flash the 2.0f test file I’d be interested to hear about the towing part. I tow a bit less than you do so what you observe will be relevant for my set up. Thanks.
