I agree. It's needed. Add some stuff to the list of stuff you want to see on page 1.

List of new mods you would like to see referenced that I can add on page 1.

 

tire choices with weight ratings, maybe incompatible part configurations? or upgrades that eliminate the need for other mods. dos and donts for the new guys.....and me.

 

This isn't a towing thread Jesse and it's definitely not a wheeling thread either.

I mean new sections like manual transmission upgrades, exhaust. Stuff like that which you guys want quicker access to. Manual transmission dudes would require that I get input from them on which combinations and or particular parts work best for them and their power levels.

 

I'd love to see the CM hydro TOB up on post one. Such a great mod for the stick shift taco. Deletes the accumulator as well

 

List me where I can find it, and/ or a reference on a link if it's within the forums.

Nice!! So did you get the fidanza or light weight steel flywheel aka competition clutch flywheel?

I’m getting ready for this same install just can’t make my mind up on which flywheel is best. The stock Aisin flywheel is not a bad option by any means.

 

How was your break in period? Does the chatter smooth out eventually?

I went with the light weight steel flywheel.

 

This is the way. Wanted to thank you for this post. I did the same on mine and it cleans up a ton of that high pressure line that is all snaked in and around there.

 

It does. Your chatter may end sooner, do to the CM TOB. It took quite a while for mine. About 2k miles.

Where did everyone run their wiring for their boost and AFR gauges? Easy grommet on the driver side is already packed with wiring. AFR I can probably run on a grommet under the seat once I get the bung added but figure the Boost is an easy add. Let me know any other spots you may have used.

 

I went passenger side grommet by the large wiring OEM bundle to the ECU. It pops out behind the glove box and above heater core.

 

I too went passenger side for extra wires.. I unraveled the electrical tape and uses an antenna to feed all my extra wires through the stock wiring loom through the bulkhead connector into the area where the ECU is. Takes time and lots of cussing. But cleaner and not having to poke holes to leak later.

 

Just don’t forget to use rubber grommets. Wire rubbing on metal is a no no.

 

my ideas are rarely useful.

 

my suggestions were not for towing or wheeling. tire weight=performance. non useful/compatible configurations of mods for safety/non wasteful spending i thought would be helpful.
