If cost wasn't a factor I'd use Lexan vs plexiglass ... It would be interesting to see what the laser would do to that!

I'm curious how clean the edges the laser can get? I'm betting it would be badass with a clear shelf. You think you'd black out the front edge if you were edge lighting it? Might be a distraction if you didn't

The edges are super sharp. We cut some thinner acrylic the other day to make an enclosure for the cnc machine. It’s party acrylic and part wood.

Thanks Zach .. once the doors are done I think you'll appreciate it more! Unfortunately, I am relying on an outside source for the finishing touches

Ok.. two things.. I wanted to see if I could quote to a different thread.. which the answer is yes.. yes you can ( new to me anyways) and second.. I didn't want to clutter up the other thread anymore.. But I googled what you suggested and that looks pretty cool! I'm sure I will have to pester you with some questions about it

The mention of 100+ tabs gave me a nervous tick ;).

Your thing about Google Earth reminded me of a report I built. It has a color coded map that shows our 5 sales regions. It then has a satellite map of North America with dots for all of the sales offices. you can click the color coded map for a region, then it zooms the satellite map on that region. You can then drill down to a sales office. The table to the right of it shows revenue, growth, number of accounts, etc. at whatever level you are drilled down to.

The dots for the sales offices are by importing latitude/longitude data based on the city name, but I took it a step further and modified the lat/long table down to the 1/10th of a degree to put the dot on top of the actual building our offices are in. It's pretty sweet to drill down to a sales office, then have a close up satellite image of it ;).

I did that Booker's Night scoring in Power BI. I have a dumbed down version of the report that I've tinkered with publishing to the web. Power BI provides HTML codes for your reports.

Nothing special, here, but this is that report:

Here's a screenshot of the mile markers in New Mexico that I plotted. The map is zoomed out obviously, but it is public knowledge if anyone cared to look. The map shows every 5 miles, and it's built in a layered tree so that I can turn off everything or turn on one road, one mile marker etc. It gives me the GPS coordinates to relay to my pilots in seconds instead of searching and searching..

I have similar layers for hospitals, bases, landing zones etc... Google Earth makes my job SO much easier..

Also.. your chart looks clean.. I could definitely use something fancy like that at the FD where I report to the Trustees every month on our numbers and use the information to write grants and such. Even used my data for a presentation to the County Board of Supervisors to determine whether or not to put in a stop light!

Is Power Automate something similar? I'm just checking the Office stuff I have access to for free from the FD. I also have Power Apps. and I'll be honest I have never heard of Crystal Report or Tableau.. LOL

How many have you made so far? Did you ever get the dremel thing to help with the sanding?
