JB you being in SC have you had any experience working with Sylvan Arms?
They make and sell various gun parts/accessories and most interesting to me is their folding stock adapter... Seems identical to a LAW but easily $40-$90 cheaper.

A bit new around here but need your guys' opinion. Do you think LMT lowers stamped "Milan, IL" might be considered collectible one day? Right now torn between a Mars-H lower(stamped Iowa) and a 308MWS lower(stamped IL). Me being from IL, I'd like the IL stamp, but the Mars lowers are nice.

I may look into those depending on how these other ones perform.

This belt clip fro discreet carry concepts showed up today, it’s well worth the $5 to upgrade from a plastic claw to this.

No experience with Sylvan Arms, however I checked all of my distributors and none of them carry their stuff either

There’s literally no way to say 1 thing will be more collectible or desirable in the future...pure speculation

Buy the lower with the markings that suit your fancy

    In short, no.

We aren't talking about firearms that were used in battle like CMP garands and 1911s.

It's an over produced civilian platform that you want specifically because it's from IL. I doubt the fact that it's stamped in IL means anything to people other than those in IL. Even then I think it'd just be a neat detail instead of a reason to search for it.

I grew up in Western PA. If I owned something on the AR platform, it'd be cool to have a Shaw barrel (made in PA) but, it's just a barrel and wouldn't pay drastically more for one over something of the same quality from somewhere else.

Greatly appreciate the input. Between this post and what the sales resp told me, both made great points. Ultimately decided on an LMT Mars-H(Eldridge, IA) stamped. Hopefully it gets in soon.

Received my kryptek camp walkers today and got them setup with the walkie talkie.
I may end up ordering a 4th pair once my return for the Bluetooth pair goes through so the 4 of us in my family will be able to communicate, although I want to keep both the patriot set and the kryptek set for myself.

I was very impressed by the noise canceling capability when I used a jackhammer on Saturday while removing some fence posts for a friend, very easy to hear everything around but the noise of the jackhammer was quieted enough I could hear the mechanicals of the jackhammer whirring more than the impact.

Anyone else in here impatiently waiting on the Stribog A3?

The only thing that is helping me stay patient is I can't but a second gen A1 right now anyway, as they are sold out almost everywhere.

It may well be the 9mm PCC that gets me to buy one for anything other than a pure meme gun.

I was in the process of purchasing a current Stribog when I read up about the A3 and it’s delayed blowback. So now I’m stuck hating the waiting, but knowing I’ll regret it if I don’t get what I really want!

Well.. sold my AR to fund my dream gun. Been wanting and searching for a good Sig 556 forever. More specifically a pistol variant. Even more so a Swat Pistol variant. Found this beauty months ago.. never heard back from the seller.. then randomly got an email Saturday asking if I was still interested. Absolutely! Negotiated a bit and settled on a price. It (was) an Unfired brand new 2014 build Sig Swat Pistol. I immediately took it out to the desert and put about 100 rounds through it. Zero issues. Blast to shoot. Comfortable and easy to control. Much better than I expected. I'm in love.. it will never leave my side. Lol

Spoke with Global Ordnance. Stribog A3 will probably not be available for wider purchase in US until end of Summer.
