So..... Since my other threads are mostly all regional, this question/request comes here. Plus, I'm really curious how some of you are going to answer... :D

I'm sure you all know that @OneGiraffe and I are planning on an interstate-move soon, and although we already have a region we're concentrating on, I'm still trying to be open to considering other options. With my employment not restricting our new location, we can really go anywhere that has sufficient internet/cell signal.

What state/region do you live in, and what are the top 3 things you like about it, and the top three that you hate.

    I'll start.
Northern California (State of Jefferson region)
    Like:
    1. Weather
    2. We're at the snow line, and still just 2ish hours to the ocean
    3. TW community in this area is strong, and many are always willing to lend a hand.
    Hate:
    1. Cost of living
    2. Cost of land
    3. Pew-pew laws
Mine are obviously very high-level, but feel free to go into detail.

So far, so good. On my second cup of coffee and just ate breakfast.

@Twizted doesn't know it yet, but we're going for a walk in a few even though we did hours of yard work yesterday :anonymous:

    3. Low crime rate

    Dislikes:
    1. Outside of towns there's nearly no cell service
    2. Too sparsely populated. Even for a hermit like me. You can drive for hours without seeing another car
    3. See above. Nobody lives here from TW or any other online communities

Bonus like: Tons of public land//forests with camping/off-roading friendly policies

    KS. Followed your format.

    1. Weather. - meh
    2. - KS lots of lakes depending on area, not far from all sides of country for trips to see stuff.
    3. TW community in this area is not present in NE Kansas really.
    Hate:
    1. Cost of living - not horrible really. https://www.movoto.com/guide/ks/cos...-does-it-stack-up-against-the-average-salary/
    2. Cost of land - not bad, could be better
    3. Pew-pew laws - did I mention open carry. https://www.usconcealedcarry.com/resources/ccw_reciprocity_map/ks-gun-laws/

Overall I do not mind it. I rent and have lived here 5 years now. Other states I've lived, IN, IL, GA, SC, CA, MI. So far I like it the best. If I can improve my income will probably live here permanently. Hope this helps. Good luck.
