Thats just the internet man, been going on since the 90's, ever read the comments on a news site, sports, youtube etc. The internet is where people express their true opinions because society spends so much of it's time being fake behind a facade of what is considered socially acceptable.

Look at that Secretary of the Navy who just resigned after his comments were leaked. Publicly viewed opinions are rarely the same as private ones.
