I have a couple of the left switches and 1 right switch.

If I remember correctly didn't the last one prevent any resale of parts? Like they destroyed the engine and crushed them. 4WD versions of certain vehicles got harder to find because their 2WD counterparts weren't considered a clunker with their better fuel economy. My dad's coworker scrapped a mint garaged 4.0 5 speed 4WD 1992 Cherokee.

cash for clunker cars were to be crushed. no used parts allowed off them. it was a massive disservice to the used car market and god forbid it happens again

 

ive got the laptop with me. i'll see if i can hop on in a wee bit (not home.. but im free for a bit here)

 

cash for clunkers was a shit show

though it accomplished the goal of boosting new car sales

 

While single handily destroying the used car market and killing the sub $1000 used car to this day. (Non running or rotted don’t count)

 

yep, if it runs and drives it's a $1k car now

 

My sisters first car was right before cash for clunkers. $450 bucks for a 97 Nissan. Thing had no issues other than being ugly. Lasted 6 years before she bought a new car.

That sounds like a score. Having something you can rely on is great.

I don't really care about looks but comfort and reliability are where it's at

 

My Taco is rating pretty low on both right now

 

$500 I’ll cone get it next week.
