Thanks for quick fix. I drove 50 miles on the new base 91 file and was going to submit a ticket for the erratic shifting, and stumbles. I will load the new file and test again for 100 miles minimum.

Glad that got figured out and fixed fast, didn’t think I was going to make it back to the house to flash back to old tune. Just got back from 10 miles on corrected file. So far so good.

So is the OLE deal a thing of the past?? Or will that return with 2.0 Final-Final???

I certainly see where OVT is headed (tuning software, no more selling tunes) but man did i like the comfort of just flash and forget. 2.0 is pushing me into a new realm. Time to expand my mind and grow a little lest I be left in the dust.

But there are 87 files and 91 files. None say OLE.
Does the 87 and 91 just signify where the tune "starts out" when first loaded?

Did you read the file names?

there’s base OL and premium OL. Hence 87 and 91. Yes. It’s where it starts.

Apparently it will accelerate the learning process so if you have 91+ in the tank then you should use that one but later on you can use 87 gas and OLE will work.

At least that's what I understood from the notes we got about 2.0 Final a while back

    Mat, question.
So I drove around d and notice that the engine ran in Direct injection mode for the whole time from the flash- flat line under light and heavy load.
Before it was bouncing between Port and Either. Is this a new normal?
    Thanks

You don’t have to flash to stock to go to dealer. They can’t tell. You can’t revert to 04A60

Yes that is the new normal.
Although it should still Se some port usage at idle and heavier load under 2500 rpm
But moderate load, low rpm, direct only

The revised 91 octane 04B04 2.0f works 100% better than the original file that was posted, so I am looking forward to driving the initial 100 miles and giving my input. I too had my doubts whether I would make it back home using the first 2.0f 91 tune! Thanks again for the fantastic support.

Did I miss something or is the OLE concept being discarded?

I'm anxious to get some miles on this tune! I'll be going from stock to 2.0 so should be a significant change.
Only bummer about the handheld is I have to wait on my files. :annoyed::thumbsup:

From what I remember is, there is a higher octane and a lower octane tune. I will learn the octane within its parameters for each tune

I have the 5.29 gearing and 295/70/17 tires. I loaded the 91 octane 5.29 04B04 34-36”. Should I leave it here or load the 31-33”? Just want it to work the way u intended. Seems like it has more pedal feel under initial take off than before. Was running the 4.88 non tire size tune previously
