Alright, where my guys with swing outs? How do you lock up your spare? I’m worried someone will steal it

Locking lugnuts. I just bought a 4-pack of locks at the local auto parts store, use three of them for the spare and one for my high lift.

You could also loop a cable through the spare and around your swingout if you're real concerned about it.

Nice swap! I can't imagine why a stepside was ever made.

I thought the fox only had 5 again this years, she has had 4 or 5 a year for the past ten years but today they all came out and they are 13. They are two different sizes so it must be two litters. Have had 43 total in 10 years.

i found a cheap enough tailgate, cut the letters out, cut out a section on my tailgate, welded, bondo, paint. The handle on the new tacomas have a camera on them, i plan on adding that too

That’s sick as fuck man, kudos.

As far as the paint code goes, the Toyota paint code for LMM is U1C8. Should be able to search around online and find some cans shipped for a decent price.

Sold the truck today. Was rather bittersweet but now I can mod the 3rd gen. Was a sad moment seeing it hauled off. Never wanted to let this one go but I needed something that didn’t have 301k to daily drive and the head gasket wasn’t something I wanted to deal with.
