I think, for his age, it was a pretty impressive question.

He's starting to pick up that there isn't just good and bad. There is a grey area. At 7, I don't think I could process that myself. But can you teach a 7 year old the the government isn't always good? (Slippery slope into politics, and I'm trying to avoid it) He's watched a few shows like that with me and I have to explain it away. I miss talking to adults in person...

At this point, I'd take the 7 year old. The dog listens but his replies are pretty limited-like right now, he's just panting; which is his way of saying "I want to go out side".

I think it's good that you do watch stuff that might be harder to understand with your kid and provide answers as you can.

The Last Gentleman Adventurer is a book I'd recommend. It's about Edward Maurice and his work with the Hudsons Bay Company in Canada's Arctic during the 1930's.

The loneliness and difficulty of the job are offset by what the author learned and experienced while working in the arctic.

Highly recommend.

 

I havent had a chance to watch that yet. But izzy and i watched 2 hours of fluffy last night. Lol

I had Dakars for awhile before my shell, stock brake lines were fine. Not sure if stock shocks are long enough but it’s been a few years. If not I’m sure someone has some laying around that’s work for awhile if the OEM is too short.
