Haha same here. I went back to 1.05 Performance because I missed the power it had. The rest of it wasn't so great vs 2.0 tho.

Let it settle in tho. I run 93 octane here and I went back out for a few miles and it reminded me of the above 93P. Ran pretty peppy as you say if I got on it.

Anyone know if Ovtune is offered for the older 2 Gen Tacoma's? (2005-2015)

    That's exactly what I want.
•5th gear should be like 50 MPH minimum
    •6th gear 65 mph minimum

Also,I asked via email and Messenger whether the shift sense pro is compatible with Ovtune or not to no avail. Maybe I'll try the email again.

Edit: This will probably all be configurable with the VfTuner, so I'll probably just wait for that.

Doing so is possible but will take a noticeable hit to mpg at low load driving around 45-60mph.

Also guys, please stick to the 100 mile rule. Unless you have a noticable issue.

Can confirm ECT feels like it did when stock on vs not on. By that I mean the throttle feels a little more aggressive and it's less willing to upshift unnecessarily.
The only thing I'm interested in changing is gear lock. It's not for me. I prefer the stock intent of S-Mode limiting the highest gear allowed. But that's why I bought VF Tuner.

Overall shifts a as expected especially 3-4 with mild acceleration. Shifts are right at redline with the throttle pinned. No weird limiter bounce like previous betas had (ECT or not).
    Idle was butter smooth.

+1 and with you on that. We are watching and waiting. All good and kind of nice to see all the early adopters give some positive feedback on 2.0!

To the people complaining about the shift points. Guess what? You can change them with the VF TUNER. Literally the WHOLE POINT of VF TUNER

Are the 2.0 files able to be used on the 2020 Trucks? My current file is the 04B80 on the Beta with 4.88 gears.

When I update flash Manager I just see the Beta 4.88 listed. I'm assuming thats the same I have now.

    Thanks guys,

    John

Well...I cannot post in the For sale/buying threads due to lack of posts.

So if anyone is trying or wanting to sell a used OVTune flash kit...PM me. And yes...I know the VF Tuner will be coming out soon.

Just STOP it. Ive already bought VF but maybe some people don't want to tune themselves and instead just want to get their 2¢ in to get the final tune as close to desirable as possible.

I could and would be an optimal tester with my daily mountain driving and off-roading, but my dongle is in the mail and awaiting a conversion license to P5Flash

I like how the test files go up and you get,

Instructions: Clear/Reset LV and AT value
Testers: I don't know what that is, I did not reset any values, and it drives fine...

Highlighted in bold, and people still chose to ignore it lol.
