Where do go up there? I've hunted quite a bit up there and never had a problem, a minivan could make it to the top without issue. Am I missing something?

I take it back. It's 6 feet, except that there's running water underneath that melts 2 feet between the ground and the actual snow. So you drive on it and suddenly an abyss opens up beneath you and you're hood deep in heavy slush. Sleds most likely aren't going to either of those spots this month either.

You can drop buy and use my programming cable too. Also if you punch in 151.940 you can hear us at 7pm each night. You can join in the convo if you want. We all use callsigns. I'm JDAM of course.

until I figure out the Privacy Code/CTCSS thing the walkie talkies need to have that set to 0. If it's anything else that's when you can hear them but they can't hear you. If two baofengs are being used the CTCSS needs the be the same on both.

https://www.walkietalkiecentral.com/walkie-talkie-privacy-codes/ it's not really private lol

here are the frequencies for CTCSS and the Baofeng will roll through those in the menu. But I just haven't gotten it to actually work. Maybe some HAM's here can help?

hmmm I don't really like spring snow like that. I do want to get out of this house though.

I got a friend who wants to go fishing bad. I'm like it's all closed. He said well we'd be breaking the rules anyways by going to a lake. If you break fishing regulations can't they make you ineligible to fish the next year too?

so some people from my neighborhood did a thing today. Called Operation Lift. We dressed our rigs up with flags and wrote some inspirational shit on our windows. Rolled around North Bend honking and waving. Just trying to lift peoples spirits and get them thinking about something other than COVID. Majority of people had positive responses and came running out to wave. Some people just had puzzled looks and didn't wave. One guy gave us two thumbs down LOL

It was fun. 7 rigs total.

They can get real shitty real quick. Seize all gear, boat, vehicles, etc. I would not risk being made an example of
