Is there a separate switch/fuse/relay for each side?

If so, check fuses for continuity and swap relays.

If not, you have a breach in the wiring on your driver’s side.

I can't agree with you more. At least if I screw it up, I'll chalk it up to learning and go back and fix it right.

2 separate fuses both were fine. No relay. Ended up pulling a few relays that were labelled HTR anyways and tested them out. All fine and I've never tested one so was mostly for the experience.

Found the culprit. ECU. One of the pins burnt out. Going to buy a new one today.

Any idea why that wouldve burnt out? I have seat covers and drive the thing quite a bit so maybe overheated ??

    Thanks for the help!!

Thanks for clarifying that. I hate spreading misinformation. I was referencing another post where I said I've seen the issue on bamf. I would go archive over bamf for that reason but the 2month lead time would suck if I was in the middle of a week long trip and broke something.
Thanks for having this conversation with me, I wasn't trying convince anyone to do a shackle flip over hangers, I was just curious on why you went that route. I definitely learned more about both from this.

Ouch. Looks similar to the fan motor resistor issue. Poor connection. Terminals didn't fit tight. Not locked into the connector body...

You can replace that connector body and get a repair wire for it. Lol for a tiny tiny number moldeded into it. That make it easier to going the correct connector body.

When I say tiny; I used my phone and zoom in on others I've looked at.

Frustrating no doubt but at least it’s diagnosed.

Electricals are a black art for a lot of people. I was lucky to learn from my Pops, he did electronics repair as a home business for years. I still can’t do everything he could (he used to repair circuit boards back in the 80’s-90’s before they got so packed you couldn’t work on them by hand) but he taught me a lot.

Made mounts for my traction boards. Obviously only tacked together in this pic to make sure everything fit. Forgive the tslot nut on the bottom left hand bolt, Lowes only had 3 knobs when I went and picked up material last week. Got them fully welded and ground down. Hopefully will get them painted tomorrow.

I want the oil fill cap but it’s almost $60 . At least the radiator cap keeps the temp down 2-3 degrees from what it used to be .
