Thanks for the kind words. But yes I am back home and actually have been since the 2nd. Not even sure I’m going to try an continue this year just due to time restraints of Baxter state park closing 15 October. But We can continue from where we stopped at and continue next year and still be grandfathered considered a true thru-hike 2000 miler!

Getting to start all over :)
Anyone know about stormwater drainage from your neighbor effecting your septic drain field after they did significant landscaping?

My neighbor raised their yard front and back now 1/4 of my back yard is completely saturated right now with significant standing water. My septic drain field has water above the grass, Also its pooling up under my shed. I can barely flush my toilets. Plus I've got a methane smell in my home but that's a toilet seal issue so I'm going to fix that. However, before I speak to them I just need some education lol

Oh that can be a touchy one. I'd consult a lawyer that specializes in realestate and property law. They'd be your best bet.

I ain’t rich! Not sure I’d want to know how much it would cost to cover the back half considering we have a tall ass travel trailer that is coming home soon now that the concrete is cured.

Probably expensive especially with how wide the slab is.

So I bought a smoker and built it yesterday. Not sure if this is a pro or con but I smell like delicious smoked meats nonstop. That smell gets stuck in my hair and I’m currently smoking daily so showers don’t help for long.

Shoulder has been on the smoker for an hour. Thought I could get up at 430 to start the shoulder and go back to bed after... wishful thinking.

Just a smaller Pit Boss. Didn’t wanna go big baller for my first smoker just in case I got bored with it.

Need to get out and camp before it gets hot. This year has sucked for camping and wheeling so far.
