    Those are definitely scratched.

I think I scratched mine little more thoroughly. IMG_20200412_092731596_HDR.jpg

This isn’t a “scratched Lca swinging” contest ok?

Does this have to be from a Tacoma because my drift missile lcas are held on with wire ties?

I went to look at my truck and mainly the lca are bent and the ear where they are mounted are bent. Nothing worth showing off. But am excited to see the 930 cvs price. How will they compare strength wise from oem and rcv?

Lol thank you. I've worked hard at figuring out how to keep oem cv alive. But I'd like to have peace of mind strength wise if the price is right.

And you get a lot more angle for more dropout if your suspension allows

Stronger for sure, and more allowable difflection angle so you can use every bit of travel your control arms and shocks can provide.

And we will only do them with 300m axles not the cheaper 4340

That's a big upgrade from the RCV even.

Perfect. Currently I grind the inner cup a little to give me some more down travel. It would be nice not having to do that.

This is something Dirt King offers with their axles to get an extra inch of travel out of their 4x4 kits. Sadly, I had someone call my bluff for selling my current axles so I just ordered RCV's. We'll see in a week or two what kind of angles and travel numbers those get compared to my machined DK axles. That said, these 934's that @81Trekker and JD fab are producing will be awesome. I just couldn't wait and it's hard to pass up a good warranty.

Yea I didnt want to pay them for that service. Also found out when you snap a tie rod it will take a CV axle out because it turns sharp enough it will break the cage. (Dont have to worry about that now but these 934 cvs should allow for more turning radius from what I'm reading)

You may want to add some steering stops to your kit since you have full hydro steering. Turning radius with the stock steering rack for the dirt king kit is limited by the rack, not the cv's. That stated I should do the same since I still have the weak ass stock tie rods lol

Already have them in place. I limited the 10" ram to match the stock steering travel. Only took 2 cv axles to figure that out. I ended up welding a 1/4" plate to the lca to make sure it wouldn't break a CV axle when I broke tie rods.

Don't think upgrading CV strength does anything other than damage or break more expensive parts that are horribly inconvenient to do preventive inspections on. If you are breaking OEM joints you're just going to start breaking different things. IMG_20191127_165919.jpg IMG_20190930_164822.jpg

It’s more about getting increased angle which means more travel... the added strength is a bonus but yes ultimately the front ring gear is the weak link
