    So true, so true.

Nice, that looks really good. Curios why you ran the tubes by the rear body mount in front/behind each other instead of connecting them?

So, I got to the point of insanity. No matter what I did, the main hoop is still kicking forward about 1/4" under weight. So the plan was to use my first failed main hoop as kickers then tie in, but I realized I had two sections which were all going to the same section and I could reinforce that kicker by going to another section built off the frame. However, I'm just going to run tube over the cab into the front, because everything is still in a single pivot point plane horizontally.

I may take that section out, but I'll probably just leave it as a reminder that overthinking shit gets goofy sometimes.

This is how build threads should be.

Try something don’t like it, fix it until you do. So many just skip to instasuccess which gives everyone a false sense of the efforts that have actually went into a project.

Sliders look great and tying the back of cage into the main hoop is going to be way cleaner than the kick out idea.

Cant wait to see this thing on some rock

    Lol

A lot of bad welds, flap discs, cut off wheels, plasma tips, blood and cursing.

However, I agree with you and also fully believe instant gratification is ruining society. There's a lot of fucking work involved in doing cool shit.

Got rid of the deflection forward bending up some side tie ins, then I added a lower crossmember for the rear.

My wife kept coming outside, so I took the hint that she wanted me to come in

Otherwise they'd be installed right now.

She's 4 points better looking than me, soooooo, she gets what she wants.

I know that look. I get it all the time from my lady and I’m just building a new welding cart.

She’s gonna be stoaked when we buy a house and have a garage that fits bigger projects

So, started researching and came up with this...

Any other options out there besides an Atlas? Thoughts?

I've had a dual setup like this before (Inchworm Gear), and now I have an Atlas 4. Atlas gets my vote 10 out of 10 times. It's going to cost more obviously but you get a true work of art that is stronger than any other option on the market.

Are you going to do a full cage around the outside of the cab? Looks pretty good so far!

Yeah, that will come, but it's not mandatory right now, so once it's trail ready, I'll tie in a full cage.

I need to do the fender tubing and get everything remounted in the engine bay then burn in the shock hoops. Ran into a problem though... I have no idea where I put my charcoal canister box and associated parts.

Dunno what I'll do about that issue. I'll probably just run without or go see my friends at the local junkyard.

Just finishing my Atlas 4 install, so no experience with driving it yet, but all I see are folks complaining about crawl box issues, trying to mate to separate components. Atlas takes care of that with one solution for easier integration. Advanced is a great company to work with as well, it will cost a bit more on the front end but should be worth the extra cost. Don't know about the clockability on the TG, but if you are looking to gain clearance, Atlas all day.

Just curious, if you don't mind me asking, how much did it run total? I've heard votes for both, but honestly, I think the Atlas would be worth the extra cost. I'm hoping to stay under 4k.

I got it on their black friday sale for $3500 OTD with the adapter. I think you'd be close to $4200 without any discount.
