Looks good. I'm wanting to ditch the u-bolts on mine and weld some plate to the axle and just use regular bolts through the perches. But that's a some day sort of project when I feel like taking care of a few more little detail things as well. I've been enjoying the neglect and abuse of the truck since getting the dd 1.5yrs ago.

Hi all, figured I could post a quick question here as I keep trolling through the threads and reading up. In your opinions what are the low-hanging fruit/ must do in terms of reinforcement after going LT. I've got a Camburg 3.5" kitt with 35"s and I've got a little anxiety about what I might bend when I hammer down.

(would be happy to look at links if you have any to point me to as well)

they do seem to be a pretty good product. I have the TC gussets and after a few years of still having my alignment go out every few trips, decided to just weld the cams to the frame. Ghetto solid mounts and haven't had to get an alignment since. Steering wheel will still go ever so slightly crooked from time to time but I've checked it when it does and my alignment is still spot on so I assume its the steering rack bushings flexing or tweaking ever so slightly. Tie rods remain straight surprisingly and like I said, all alignment specs measure up just fine.

Yea the marlin ones are almost twice as thick as the tc ones. Really turns it into a nice double shear

My problem wasn't the cam having room to wiggle, it would actually spin between the tc gussets even when torqued to spec. Having heimed uppers I'm not concerned about welding the lower cams in place and its been amazing for the last year and a half not having to get an alignment every time I take the truck out.

Is there a running thread for people with Camburg long travel where I can pepper my similarly built counterparts with questions?

I do as well, and all the above mentioned gussets are on my list of what to do next.
+ a set of @solid_offroad (Instagram) motor and trans solid mounts.

I’m running a Camburg set up with spindle gussets cam tab and coil bucket gussets all from total chaos I’m going to reinforce the actual lower control arm mounts next as a few of my friends have cracked theirs

Yeah. Old versions had that problem. I know for fact that the design flaw has been fixed at least for over a year now.

Well considering it just meant their jig wasn't square it should have been fixed immediately
