I have what's called a fitbit which I got as a free thing from work, but if you look them up they make multiple types. You can wear them like a watch or others clip to your shoe or waist band and it will track to an app on your phone or computer.

Just sharing as an alternative since it's a cool program that will allow you to see your progress or even bug you to meet certain goals (mine will vibrate if I haven't gotten up and moved in a while).

I remember when I first moved to Georgia and found out that trout fishing was very popular there. My brother and I were walking around one day asking people what they were using for bait. They told us corn kernels and fish eggs. We looked at each other like they were nuts. But I did try the fish eggs, and lo and behold they worked. But my favorite trout lure was a little cleo, worked like charm in fast moving water below the dam. Had to walk quite a ways back then, to find a few good spots to fish in, but I could usually catch my limit in about 2 hours and head for home. Fished down river from the bufford dam at lake lanier, man oh man the good ole days.
