Yes the are custom cut and I have two different style insert “chips” ...one with a hole in the center and one with an off set home that can be flipped in either direction. Essentially there are 3 different positions

idk, I have maxtrac spindles, spacers, tube bumper, cab mount is cut, and fiberwerx fenders. No rubbing, but really the only extra thing I had to do that I wouldn’t already have done is the cmc.

you are 2wd with lift spindles... I’m talking 4x4 and clearing the tires lock to lock at full bump

I'm curious what is so different on the 3rd gen model frame that these couldn't work on a 2nd gen with a little modification. Anybody running these or know somebody running them?

I was just looking at these, they look like they would fit. If not could always modify the bracket as it should be close.

Solid info from everyone. Buddy bent my passenger LCA driving it like it wasn't his. When will I learn? Want to do hydraulic bumps up front down the road so was considering some of these high priced LCAs since I already have to replace one LCA. Any other good options other than the TC? It seems more than a few people have made hydraulic bumps work with factory LCAs? Please advise.

Trying to save cash where I can because I'm also about to upgrade my power steering pump to go with my Solo Tundra rack and pinion, and put 650lbs 14in springs on because my out of the box fox 2.5' DSC set up is showing 30 something damn threads to get my ride height to clear my 295's. About to get expensive. Thanks.

If that goes on with minimal fab work I'm in. Keep us up to date.

I'm thinking the exact same thing. I'm wondering how much modification it would take to make these work. You down to be the guinea pig and let us know how it works out?

I will just give a warning on them. I have a buddy that had the bump stops on a full size Bronco and they were as annoying as fuck. We were a doing moderate trail and it sounded like someone was slamming a sledgehammer into the side of his rig.

When I asked him what the hell was that he was happy to say it was his bump stops.

Yes they clack a little.. yes they are noisy... Yes they are incredibly useful... And yes the benefits far outweigh the very small negatives that air bumps come with.

Think maybe they just needed to be adjusted more?

I have a DIY bump can setup. Yeah, they are noisy. This KING bracket setup looks way better structurally than what I currently have.

    This part is interesting:

NO WELDING with shocks or bump stops installed on the vehicle – welding on the vehicle with shocks and bump stops installed can cause an arc from the welder to go through the shock which will damage the shock or bump stop. DO NOT WELD ON VEHICLE WITH SHOCKS INSTALLED!

P sure everyone and their mother doesn't take shocks off to weld, probably a CYA.

This ^^^^ but giving yourself plenty of room to weld by removing the coilover on the side you're welding after cycling your suspension with the coil off before you set bump height would make it much less likely for that to happen (even if it never really happens in exception of stupid welding practices) if the only shocks on the vehicle are on other side / corners of the truck. Kind of the same thing as always disconnect your battery.

Those of you running air bumps.. Do the bumps compress completely when you are on slow crawling stuff when the axle articulates? Im currently running wheelers, and when im in a situation where the axle is articulating, the wheelers bump doesnt compress completely, basically robbing me of about an inch of up travel on the tucked wheel.

Depends on the pressure you put with the nitrogen - directly correlates to the force needed to compress them - 0 pressure = no effort required to compress.

Is it possible to set up the pressure where it is high enough to handle some high speed hits, yet low enough to compress all the way in the slow crawling stuff? Will an air bump bleed off pressure with a slow shaft speed/velocity such as like a shock does?

I mean you could let some pressure out when wheeling and even use CO2 on trail to put it back up for high speed stuff.
