Yea there's only a few stocks that i think are good and worthwhile to own stock in. They aren't even a good buy price though because they handled all the recent stuff fairly well, likely for the reason i mentioned. Definitely something to keep an eye on cause if that market takes off it's gonna be a big deal

I think the MJ stocks are uninvestable right now because they cant even put the money in the bank. I doubt many of them will make it through the upcoming dragged out recession, sorry I mean v shaped recovery, what will be interesting is who will become "big weed". Evrey phish fan just shuddered LOL!!!

Straw man argument. Using that logic booze should be nationally illegal because pilots still show up drunk or massively hung over. Been in the aviation industry for 20yrs, it's one big group of future AA graduates.

I so agree on the testing. I was surprised states legalized it without a roadside sobriety test.

You can effectively determine a level of intoxication with alcohol. When that can be done with MJ, it's a different story.

Concur, but I think we've avoided the politics of it. :notsure:

Bottom line, before it can be nationally decriminalized, a lot more needs to be accomplished first.

I've put a lot of thought in this from all aspects and points of view, including unproductive arguments with my older brothers (one a banker and the other a professional hippie at the age of 67).

FWIW, I grew up in Oregon... :rasta:

You never know with TW!! I dont use MJ, as you saw been in aviation for 20yrs, and now that I'm out I cant because I may need to get a real job soon and failing a DT at 36 would get me divorced despite it being legal LOL!!!

Saying that, I think as an adult you should be able to injest whatever you want into your body. However with that responsibility one must take ownership of those actions, crazy talk I know!

Jelous about growing up in oregon, I want to move there but I'm not a trillionare hippie. Came close in jan but target dicked me around and wanted to hire me into their sacramento location instead, gave them a big F no on that one.

I started my aviation career in '87, when I left there. Back then I was going nowhere fast and needed a life change.

It's a beautiful place, but yes I can't afford to live there and my points of view are no longer welcome in most of that state. My oldest brother is a very poor hippie, but that life style has never paid off.

Yea that's an odd state, very similar to here in IL where the cities drive all the decisions which tend to be opposite. I was born to live in the PNW, love the terrain and weather up there, not the cost of living though.

My time in IL is very limited. Other that transitioning through O'Hare, I've been to Chicago, caught a Cub's game and gambled a few times in Metropolis.

I really do miss the beauty of the PNW.
