It's my 26th day working from home in a row. It feels like groundhog day.

    Aha.
I'd prefer to work from home, personally. It's where I spend most of my free time anyway, and my job could totally be done remotely if the company would let us.

I don't mind it, but I travel for work so I usually all over the place. I've only been gone 3 weeks since the beginning of the year. Normally I'm gone 35-40 weeks a year.

Hahaha my wife has been bugging me to get third.

She also wants to get 2 Alpacas, a few goats, and chickens... and who is going to deal with them most of the time? This guy(me).

Yup! They are great to get rid of poison ivy and weeds etc. but the clean up is going to suck! The one good positive is that you can rent them out.

Look into a local rod and gun, or field & stream type of club. That's pretty much the only option up here in VT, all the ranges are outdoors. The club I joined has a small 1-room building for meetings and equipment storage over the winter months with 5 different ranges available to members, a 25/50, 100, 200, trap, cowboy, and archery. You can get all sorts of shooting in on any day of the week if you want it.

I probably should specify I had to cut off the plastic backer and pry it off then with a hammer and chisel get off the nut.

Had a pretty good morning today. Got a few hours in brush hogging in I have been putting off, then changed the blade and oil/filter on it. New HD blade is gonna be nice! Proceeded to the tractor fuel filter, which was recommended at 50 hours but looked pristine at 70:rolleyes: . Then greased all the zerks on everything I own, dewalt grease gun the wife got me for Christmas makes it almost enjoyable.

Met this afternoon about perc testing friday, and driveway construction. Time to start building the MIL's home. Hopefully get the well scheduled for two weeks, then building permit and off we go! Excited, she will be about 100 yards away through the woods, and while that sounds bad in stereotypical ways, it won't be.

I like her, she isn't a nosey person and lets you live. Very helpful and easy to get along with. Oh and the wife will be poppin' in september so having G-Ma in the back yard is a killer set up IMO. Plus, with all the dogs, if we go on vacation someone is right there...

Overall should be a good experience!
