    You can also not gamble. Using charts and metrics tends to work a bit better in the long run. I can see why you jumped on GILD and I hope your "gamble" pays out.

    I got out of oil stocks a month ago. I'll get back in but not for a while. US shale is taking a huge hit and shutting down plants left and right. The Saudis picked a really shitty time to play hardball and it's biting everyone in the ass.

    Kind of scary what's happening with oil actually. Not just from a market perspective, but from an economic perspective. It's not just cheap gas that's a consequence. Wars are a very real possibility when things get this out of hand.

    That was the first Clancy book I ever read. It was 1987 and I was stationed in Germany at the time. :thumbsup:

    Yeah, if your going to trade the news you've gotta do it the day the story breaks. Then cash out a day or two later. Last month INO announced it would start clinical trials for a vaccine. They jumped and I got in on it. Sold two days later for 35% gains. The day after that they trended down and stayed down.
