    I have never owned a Mini 14, but have shot a couple.... all of them were horrible for accuracy. I couldn't figure out how a company that created one of the most accurate 22 rimfire rifles could have missed so far off with a 22 centerfire rifle.... but they did.

    Yeah, their 10/22 is an excellent rifle (though I do prefer my Henry lever action .22).

    Snagged one of these little guys for some fun. It’ll be my daughters first “real” firearm (but really my toy). Was looking around and finding a few that have a small rmr mounted. Anyone have suggestions on a quality little topper for it? I’m a n00b here and I’ve never owned and rmr, only open sights or some type of scope on rifles and AR.

    I have the 45/22 and I put on a Vortex viper red dot. I like it, but I am really a scope guy. Red dots are very weird and strange for me. It's pretty accurate out to about 25 yards. I havent really shot it past that. Only shot it at paper a few times, and didn't keep my targets, so dont remember group size. It has helped me several times on squirrels out the kitchen window at 10ish yards.

    I have ran a RMR RM02 6.5moa on a 22/45 I used to have. worked well. For a little .22 plinker, any red dot will work. when I get another I will prob keep it with irons.
