They're never going to stop you for it, but they can definitely tack on a charge if you get pulled over for speeding and have a case of liquor from Maryland or something.

Yeah that's the liquor place we like as well. Filled my tank @ that Sheetz today $1.82. Better than $2.09 in my home area. Obeyed the speed limit coming home. Like one poster said, break one law @ a time!

My wife was talking to my sister-in-law who lives down by Downingtown. They got talking about the online PA State Store. Her suster said "Itrie last week and got right in. I didn't need anything so I didn't order."

Morning folks.

Missus and I had to do a food shopping yesterday so we took her car and she had 101.1 on the radio and WTF they were playing Christmas caroles. Got to Wegemans in Warrington and there was a line to get in that looked long, but with social distancing and all it moved fast. Signs all over telling people masks MUST be worn to enter the store and while in the store . We finally made it in after an employee wiped down our cart handle and we passed the "rent a cop" they hired (just stood at the entrance watching). Once in the store, people were very social distancing aware but a few were not. Okay no problem we all had masks and rubber gloves on, Right...counted about 7 people walking and shopping without masks on or not even on there person including one employee. Why post signs if they don't enforce it. Other then that, we stocked up for another week.

I've been going there too. IMO they've got the best social distancing setup in the area compared to all the other grocery stores. My local Giant has gotten better. Weis is a mess. Aldi looks like a train wreck so we haven't even attempted that.

I've been doing all the shopping solo lately as well.

Went to Aldi in the old Gander mountain last year and it was a train wreck then. Guess it hasn't changed much. We try to do all our shopping at Wegemans because the missus likes the fresh produce and meats. Occasionally we will run to Giant or Shoprite if we can't get it at Wegemans. But our go to place for milk and sometimes dinner(hoagies) is WAWA on York road in Jamison. Be Safe.

 

Can’t figure out why Fred Beans is still selling vehicles (albeit online, with pickup and delivery from the customer’s home), but just about every other dealership in Central Bucks seems to be closed...

Thompson Toyota’s service department is open, but the dealership is totally closed (same for all other Thompson dealers in Doylestown).

Sloane Audi-Porsche in Warrington is totally closed.

I am unsure about Keenan Honda and Keenan Mercedes in Doylestown, but the Benz dealer‘s service department does seem to be open.

Peruzzi Toyota in Hatfield is totally closed (The service department may have limited hours, but the sales department has been shut down for at least a month).

I am going to swing by Patriot Chevrolet (formerly Lafferty) in Warminster just for grins and see if they are open; Same with O’Neil Buick/GMC/Nissan next door.

John Kennedy Ford seemed to be totally closed the last time I drove by.

All of the Buy Here Pay Here places are definitely closed.

All of the dealerships in Quakertown (Faulkner, Star, Sands, and another Peruzzi) all seem to closed.

Fred Beans is located primarily in Doylestown (with 9 dealers there alone), but he has Ford dealers in Newtown and Langhorne, as well as a Toyota dealer in New Jersey. I am unsure of the status of the Toyota dealer or the other two Ford dealers, but all of the dealers in Doylestown definitely seem to be open.

I’ll bet there a lot of dealers pissed off that they’re losing business to Fred Beans!

 

A surprisingly little known fact is that Fred Beans also owns the Auto Express and a Car Quest franchise, both of which are located in Doylestown...

 

Why shouldn’t they be allowed to sell cars cars long as it is as you described it? No contact.
